Two Harbors North Pierhead Light Two Harbors, Minnesota, USA Lake Superior |
|||
|
This small lighthouse sits at the end of an L-shaped concrete pier extending into Lake Superior at Two Harbors. Built in the 1940s, the tower is 25 feet high with an octagonal-shaped lantern room. The steel legs let heavy waves pass beneath the lighthouse during storms. This light is nearly identical in design to several other pierhead lights on Lake Superior.
