Kenosha Harbor Light

aka Southport Lighthouse

Kenosha, Wisconsin, USA

Lake Michigan

Located on Simmons Island in Kenosha, this structure was built in 1866. Also known as the Southport Lighthouse, this 55-foot high tower became obsolete in 1906 when the Kenosha North Pier Light was built. Since these pictures were taken, a replacement lantern room has been built on top of the tower.
